…a place where you sit in a “Sofër” (dining table), where you find history: The “Kanun”, the “Oda”, the “Besa” (oath)…

Albanian Kulla represents a building dating from the 18th and 19th centuries and is characteristic of the western part of Kosovo and northeast Albania. The majority of Kullas have been damaged or destroyed. However, those which remain, after restoration, offer an ideal condition for developing cultural tourism and offering a unique ethno-cultural attraction.

Ramë Zymberi Kulla, Junik

…is one of the unique cases of a renovated Kulla which was initiated and financed by a private investment. This Kulla was inaugurated officially during the 2007 celebration of European Heritage days in Kosovo.

Mazrekaj Kulla / Dranoc Village, Deçan

…was restored in 2004, supported by the Swedish Government. Today, this Kulla has been transformed into a cultural center and offers a good environment for youth camps, seminars, and family-style dinners, as well as Bed & Breakfast services. This Kulla is also used as an iconic location for filming, photography, product advertising and for international presentations.

- 0 to 3 hours = 25 € (from 08:00 – 18:00)

- 3 to 10 hours = 50 € (from 08:00 – 18:00)

Note: If using the accommodation, then the use of the

conference room is free.

Short visits to Kullas

- 0 to 1 hour = 1 €

- More than 1 hour = 2 €

- Children = Free

- We can also offer traditional music, dancing,

Singing with lahuta, stories about the Knanun by experts, etc.

- Media and film houses can rent the “Oda” (men’s room),
