  I visited a lot of cities, I was very impressed with Peja, and Prishtina, but the best place to feel comfortable and relaxed is definitely Gjilan. It has a lot of amazing mosques e.x the Great Mosque(Its the biggest mosque in the city and the locals named it like this.), and the people are very polite, they dont judge you about your look,or where you come from. Personally they were very friendly with me, so I can say that I will look forward to visit Gjilan once again

  Of the areas of Kosovo I have traveled so far, I have to say I enjoy Gnjilan best so far. Gnjilan has retained its Eastern European flavor, although some locals prefer it to advance more than it has. It is a more manageable area to navigate, so poking around shops or having a machiatto or cappuccino is just around the corner. If you want to people watch, go to the outdoor cafe in front of the Kristal Hotel in the center. You can get a bite to eat there as well as a drink and just relax. There is also a nice green market not far from the center. Much more relaxing than the hustle and bustle of Prishtina which is just too busy for me, although there are some good restaurants there as well like the Gresa Restaurant and the Thai Restaurant next door to that.
