Just as the 10th season of the overtly popular show American Idol has started, a new star looks like has already been born. 16 year old Melinda Ademi, a refugee who moved to the US during the war in Kosovo, shined in the first episode of the show singing the hit song “Forget you” by Cee-Lo.

It seems that Melinda’s pretty looks and amazing voice seemed to have truly struck a note – the blogosphere is going nuts about her. Most of the bloggers are just touched by her story; one blogger is heartbroken (www.ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-542579)

Others were also touched by her father’s story who had luckily won a Green Gard by participating in the Green Gard Lottery which the US organizes each year.

Well hopefuly she won’t be getting just a sympathy vote, since she does really seem talented for her young age.
