David Parry, the Chief of American Association of Travel and Tourism visited Rugova’s Gore (Peja Municipality) and praised this mountainous area as “a rare natural beauty”, reported the daily newspaper Koha Ditore.

In his visit to Rugova, accompanied by official representatives of Peja municipality, Parry said that on his next visit he would bring businesspeople and tourist agencies to highlight the touristic riches of the region. Parry also promised to engage professionally and personally in promoting Kosovo’s nature and especially that of Peja, which has huge touristic potential.

In addition to the view, Parry was entertained by the folkloric ensemble “Rugova” who accompanied the visit of the chief of the American association by playing flutes and other instruments. Ali Berisha, Peja Municipality’s Mayor esteemed this visit as very important in the touristic promotion of the region.
